Note, .shn-format shows have been appearing in the Phish binaries groups alt.binaries.phish. We ourselves can't monitor Usenet-circulated .shns since we don't have convenient access to the newsgroup. Thus, unless an individual directly sends us a circulation date and plain-text versions of the .nfo and .md5 files, a Usenet-distributed show will not have an entry on the list.

Key to the tables: Tables are informational only; the actual music is not here. Highlighted dates have the source info sheet linked to them (if you don't find one linked here, try Steve Hormell's archive or Chad Plemons' archive). "Circ Date" indicates when one of us first saw mention of a show being up on ftp site(s); a < means it was probably up before that, sometimes well before. It's just a tracking aid- older ones may not be in circulation much any more. The "#s/a" column lists how many discs the .shns and the audio will fit onto, respectively; most of those entries are blank since we haven't been tracking that data much. The .md5s for the discs are linked in a separate column- usually these are checksums for the .shns, although for some shows, folks have also provided checksums for the decompressed .wavs (such as an .md5 entry listed "d1wav"). To use the md5 checksums at this site, make sure to save the files with extension .md5, not .txt (from a PC, try right-clicking the link and use "save link as", instead of left-clicking the link to view the file).

If you have source info or reports of flaws- or perfection- on the .shns listed here, please feel free to send it along. Thanks to all who have helped, and to everyone who has made this fine music available in the first place!

Fisken: retracked w/ SoundEdit 16 > CD (burned w/ Jam 2.5) > WAV (Toast Audio Extractor: flawless DAE) > SHN; Matt's notes: "took out all the overlap (didn't fade, actually cut and pasted on the exact samples) and empty space [eg, removing] a minute of silence  at the end of show... then retracked it nicely for 3 discs"
